Hi! The next recipe is of sophisticated and somewhat strange taste. As it is autumn our immunity system experiences tough times coping with shifting weather and our everyday stresses. We need to help it, as our immunity is 70% of what we eat. In order to boost it, you would like to have a vitamin bomb in a jar.
My mom used to give it to me when I had a cold in childhood and I still use this when I feel like getting cold. If you’ve got cold you need to take it at least 3 tablespoons a day. I liked it with crackers
Lemon, Honey, Walnut, Dried Fruits and Ginger Immunity-Boost Recipe from my Mom
200ml/ 7oz honey
50g / 1.7oz walnuts
3 dried apricots
1 mid-sized lemon
cinnamon and ginger are optional
Grate the whole lemon, you don’t need to peel it.
Grind up walnuts, apricots and prunes. Add it to the lemon, stir it hard.
Add honey into lemon-walnut mash and mix it all together. Add some ginger or cinnamon if you like it.
Put the mix in the jar and keep in fridge for not more than 6 months. For cold preventive measures you may eat it a spoon a day. If you’re ill, take it at least 3 tablespoons a day.
